Corporate Citizenship

Shavlik Technologies is committed to giving back to the community where we live and work. First and foremost, Shavlik works to support the success of the technology industry in Minnesota through memberships in organizations that support and strengthen the technology business community. Samples of these relationships include:


  • Century College – Mark Shavlik serves on the technical advisory board, he also works with students to enhance their skill sets for Quality Analysis and has developed a beta program in which the college and its students are beta testers of developing Shavlik products, offering students a hands-on approach to prepare them for careers in technology.
  • Involvement in MHTA, ISSA, NetSuds – Shavlik supports the efforts of these Minnesota technology organizations through encouragement of company-wide membership and conference attendance.
  • CISSP Training – Shavlik opens the doors of Shavlik Technologies to host CISSP study groups. This includes supporting his team as presenters and organizers of these events.

Shavlik also provides the Shavlik Technologies Scholarship for two semesters of tuition at Century College for students enrolled in the Information and Telecommunication Technology Program. http://www.century.mnscu.edu/alumni/default.aspx

Community Involvement

Shavlik knows that there are many wonderful organizations and events that support charitable causes and is willing to give product in-kind donations and monetary donations to results based non-profits that focus on youth and education; health research; or economic self sufficiency. Shavlik does not grant monetary donations or contribute to political organizations and/or capital campaigns. Requests must be made in writing, include your organizations federal id number and non-profit status and must be submitted three months in advance of an event. Samples of Shavlik Sponsored events:

  • The Leukemia Cup Regatta – held annually in September in White Bear Lake, MN to benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
